For many of us, autumn is our favorite time of year. We're no exception here at GSP. We have so much going on that it's hard to even know where to start. Let's just get right to the (bloody) heart of it, shall we?

Halloween: A glorious holiday filled with celebrations throughout the month and spread across two games, with prizes, games, giveaways, and GSP. What could be better?

First some appetizers. We're whetting your appetite with two parties in advance of the official holiday.

On October 18th, the folks at TSWDB will bring you "The Cost of Fashion" event. Ok, so it's not "technically" a Halloween party. However, there are costume contests and that's got to help you get in the mood! The party starts at 1pm EDT from The Crusades in London.

Not to be outdone, Valheru Ascendants and Mercury Dragons will present the "Hauntingly Good Halloween Boo Bash and Blood Drive!" This party takes place on October 25th from Phasefront Island in the lake at Newland City starting at 4:30pm EDT and ending at midnight.

The main event starts on Halloween night and rages on throughout the holiday weekend.

We get the ball rolling on Friday, October 31st at 5pm EDT for our roleplay event in The Secret World on Arcadia. The party will be taking place at the the Black House in the Savage Coast and it will keep on rocking past midnight!

The fun continues in AO on Saturday, November 1st from noon EDT until at least midnight! This event full of spooktastic fun takes place in the ICC Assembly Hall and is sponsored by the Advisors of Rubi-Ka!

On Sunday, we're back in TSW for some OOC shenanigans. The party starts at noon EDT and takes us all the way until 6 pm. The fun will be at Ealdwic Park in London.

As we head into November, the events continue. In addition to other monthly goodies like MMOATP and Omni-Pol's Monthly org party, we also have "Dance Like Robots! The Remix" coming up on November 15th. Details on all of these events will be announced soon.

Moar News!!

That's right, events are not the only things we have going on. First up a few changes to our schedule.

As we previously mentioned, Ashval has moved Anger Management to Sunday afternoons at 1pm Eastern. He will be alternating his shows between AO and TSW (OOC).

Additionally, DJ Oubliette is moving Permanent Midnight to 9pm Eastern.

We also have some sad news to share with you. Luckystarr has decided to leave GSP for now. As many of you know, she has had some health issues and needs to concentrate on getting well. We will certainly all miss her, but we understand the need to focus on her health. I hope you will all join me in wishing the best of luck and GSP will miss her delightful personality.

So how about if I try to end this thing on a good note?

Gridfan has been working his tentacles to the bone on a new version of Gridbot. For the most part you shouldn't notice many differences. Gridbot will be more responsive and more reliable than ever before. The truly big news for you guys is the addition of a new request feature. I know what you're thinking. Gridbot already has a request list that works perfectly fine! Well, it worked fine so long as you were in AO. This new service will allow you to make requests from outside of the game. Outside of the game. Are you listening TSW players? This means that you will be able to make requests from anywhere that you can access the internet. TSW players will be able to make requests via an automated system without having to bombard the DJ with messages! Believe me when I say that this makes the DJ's very happy. We're not set for it to go live just yet, but it is coming soon! (and I mean for realz "soon").

Yeah we're good for shaking things up around here and of course we've done it again!

Now that the NOD's (Nicksa, Oubliette, and Dharzee) have passed their tests we've had to shake some things up in order to get them on the schedule. However the first change on our schedule isn't even about one of the NODs (because you know we just like to eff with you like that).

First off is Anger Management. Ashval is taking a much needed break from this show for awhile. He comes back to the schedule on Sunday (yes, Sunday) October 5. The new show will be shorter but still jam packed with metal. He'll be doing themed shows which I'm sure will really accentuate just how deep his playlist goes. He also plans on alternating between AO and TSW. Good news for those of you on Rubi-ka who have been missing him!

((Don't worry, Trevalin is still live every Wednesday night with Eye of the Storm.))

Skipping ahead in the week is DJ Nicksa who will be filling the void left behind by Ashval on Saturday nights at 8pm, eastern. The Grindhouse moves in to TSW. To quote from Nicksa herself this show "highlights the best of rock from the 1950s to today. You will hear everything from Johnny Cash to The Clash, though the emphasis will be on music from the 60s and 70s. Roots and blues, psychobilly, acid rock, hair bands: YOU’LL HEAR THEM ALL, PLUS MORE!"

Next on the list is DJ Dharzee. His Big Hair Ball started this past Tuesday and you can catch it every Tuesday at 7:00 pm, eastern time in AO. As the name indicates his show will feature classic rock of the "big hair" era. However he mixes it up with novelties, new music, and might even throw in some metal or country if the mood strikes.

Our next change comes to Thursdays when DJ Oubliette turns 7 pm Eastern into Permanent Midnight. This TSW-based show is dark in the best possible way. She features goth, industrial, metal, punk and anything else her little heart desires. I don't know about you, but I'm ok with that.

And that's not all. Looking for an announcement coming soon regarding R.A.W with DJ Azuca. I don't want to tell any tales out of school though so we'll just wait for him to give you more info. :)

In addition rumor has it that the War-Forge with DJ Kriegshammer should be on it's way back to our regular schedule before too much longer.

Sadly with good news comes a bit of bad news. DJ Dynamiks has some health issues that he needs to take care of and so in the meanwhile Club Troppo will be on a hiatus. We'll be sure to let you know just as soon as he can bring it back.

Those are all the changes for now, but are more in the works? You'll just have to keep checking back to find out for sure.

What are the NODs? Should you be frightened? Is it time to batten down the hatches and hide your women and children??? Well possibly. However it's more important that you tune in to GSP as often as possible for the love of NODs!

Ok, so that still doesn't tell you what a NOD is now does it? NODs, as we have started calling them, are our fresh batch of New Order DJ's, namely Nicksa, Oubs, and Dharzee!

They've all had a little time on the air and soon all 3 of them will be freed from their leashes. Not quite yet though. They all still have some work to do yet. In the meanwhile, keep an ear to the stream and an eye on Facebook and Twitter to find out when a NOD show is coming. They would all love if you came out and showed them your support!

Our Old Dedicated DJ's (ODDs?) are still out there trying to mix things up as well. DJ Gemmikins is back from vacation and back in the regular line-up. Blissful Elevations is back! Her new show time is Monday from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm, eastern. That's not all for Gemmi. She's also got a second show coming up in TSW. Details to follow. Meanwhile DJ Joanwilder is waking you up on Monday mornings with Morning Coffee at 10:00 am, eastern in Anarchy Online. Also rumor has it that DJ Kriegshammer is working on re-opening the War-Forge as soon as he gets he new rig up and running.

Oh teh liveness! I can hardly stand it! Except, I'm always happy for more. If you want to become a member of GSP, you know what to do. I'm always more than happy to answer any questions or send out an application. However...

IT'S NOT JUST DJ'S WE'RE LOOKING FOR!

We've said this a few times now and we really can't stress enough that we're looking for a community relations lead to help us out on the Anarchy Online side. In this role you will be our liaison to the AO Community as well as ARK, develop and coordinate contests and prizes, act as our voice on social media and the forums, and work with the Events Lead in creating station events. If you feel that you would be interested in this vitally important role within our organization, please give me a shout and I will hook you up!

There is always more on the horizon for GSP. In the meanwhile, thanks for listening.

If it is summer that means it must be anniversary time and we have a few to celebrate. We already kicked off anniversary season with our 12th anniversary last month. We had a great time celebrating with everyone and we hope you had an equally great time!

Next up is the AO 13th anniversary which we'll be joining with ARK to help them celebrate starting this coming weekend in ICC. The party starts on Friday at 2:00 pm Eastern/ 6:00 pm UTC and rocks on for 4 hours. We then pick it up again on Saturday at 11:00 am Eastern/3:00 pm UTC and rocks on for 6 full hours. I bet you think that's all right? Wrong! AO is a teenager and like any other teenager they demanded more! The party rages on starting Saturday at 7 pm Eastern/Sunday at 11:00 am UTC for another 6 hours!!

That is a party that is sure to work out all of AO's teenage angst!

We don't want to forget TSW though. Thirteen may be a huge milestone and TSW may be a baby by comparison, but turning 2 is still a big deal and we plan on celebrating right along with TSW as well! The party starts on July 5 and you can be sure it will be a weekend of awesome music as well as contests and giveaways.

But there is more coming than just anniversaries!!

Several TSW cabals are joining together to host a Cabal Recruitment Fair in TSW. Not any Cabal can fit every player's needs. If you're having a hard time finding just the right fit, a visit to this event will be well worth your while. There will be representatives from several of the cabals on hand to answer your questions. Of course GSP will be there as well to keep everyone entertained. The Fair starts on July 12 at 2:00 pm Eastern/6:00 pm UTC in the Albion Theater/Arcadia. For more info please see this thread:

As we've been teasing, some new voices are coming to GSP. I'd love to tell you more because I know you're going to be excited. However, I'm not ready to let the cats out of the bag just yet. You'll have to wait a little longer to hear for yourselves.

On another note, we do remind you that the summer holidays are now upon us and that might mean more randomness in our schedules. However we'll always try to keep things covered and bring you as much liveness as we can.

Of course the best way to keep things covered is to have more DJ's so don't forget that if you or someone you know has what it takes to DJ for GSP, I'll be more than happy to send out an application. For those of you who are more community oriented who would like to help out GSP in a behind the scenes role, we're also looking for a community relations person in Anarchy Online.
