Ashval joined GSP shortly after long-time Director and DJ, Veldron, mysteriously disappeared and handed the leadership of the organization back to CEO Tarryk. Ashval, or "Ash" for short, filled Veldron's spot on Thursday nights with his show "Anger Management" in March of 2008. The show features much of the same material Veldron was famous (or perhaps infamous) for...including loud metal, an intense devotion to the promotion of the band Dark Tranquillity and an appreciation for opifex women.
While Ashval's history remains a clouded one, the similarities between Ashval and Veldron have led many listeners to believe that they're actually one in the same. When questioned about Veldron, Ashval offers little more than a smirk and a suggestion that he's much better looking than Veldron, uses a submachine gun rather than a corpse cutter, and still has a fully functioning liver (an apparent reference to Veldron's hard-drinking style).
Although Tarryk continues to hold the Director position, Ashval has taken some of the responsibilities Veldron once held by quickly being promoted to Program Director and assuming Veldron's former position on the Board of Directors. Ashval seems to have quickly formed the same friendship and trust that Veldron once shared with the owner of GSP, which only further leads to speculation about Ashval's true identity.
Of course, there's also the matter of Veldron's wife, Kirasha, frequently being seen at Ashval's side.

Dynamiks was born during a rare, ill-fated mission to the dark side of Rubi-Ka. He alarmed his legal guardians, spending the first ten years of his life communicating only in a complex rhythmic logarithm of his own devising. Although in his teens he rapidly developed into a most eloquent speaker, he never lost the vocal twang imposed by his bizarre linguistic origins. Dynamics is known to only need 2 hours sleep a day, to beat-match with inhuman accuracy, and to occasionally hallucinate giant bouncing rollerats. |

Mr. Kozar was born on Earth in 29450. His childhood is mostly a blur to him, and not much is known in the Rubi-Ka personal databases or the galactic network, other than the fact that he arrived on Rubi-Ka with some of the primary post-terraform settlers several years ago, yet not with any of their ships. It is rumored, and enhanced by his latent memory of being a rather untrustworthy person in his childhood, that he may have stolen the small vessel from a baron on Earth in order to get to Rubi-Ka. How or why he went to Rubi-Ka specifically is a question not even he can answer, but he does know that it was a very lonely and long one-man journey that took him many years to complete (which probably accounts for his poor memory of any events leading up to the trip).
During his stay on Rubi-Ka, he spent a solid year bouncing between applicable professions before settling on being a "jack-of-all-trades". Practitioner of nearly all professions, master of none, he decided to put his primary talents directly into entertainment -- specifically gridcasting (or "grid radio"), an as-of-yet untouched market in the world of Rubi-Ka.
He formed GridStream Productions and ran it for three very solid and very productive years, during which it has grown into something of an institution all it's own among the population of terraformed Rubi-Ka. He has in this, the fourth year of GridStream Productions, stepped down from leadership in favor of a quasi-retirement phase, during which he will broadcast for special events and retain ownership, but the reigns of GSP management were passed on to one of the few men Tarryk ultimately trusts with the whole of the responsibility: Veldron.
And so, having since settled into the background of GSP, letting the wheels turn themselves in a machine of energy that he had not fathomed could be possible in an organization that he had originally formed only with the intent to entertain others, Tarryk takes occasions to beam with pride. When he's not having one of his rather common angry overblown outbursts over trivial things, anyway...but that's another reason why he retired. |

Race: Nanomage Home City: Jobe
History: Xtrophic was born in the city of Jobe, up in the plaza district in a wealthy family. As a child he grew very fond in fireworks and visual effects from having a great overview over the entierty of jobe. One of his uncles was an explorer, employed by the JOBE association, and Xtrophic used to take every chance he got to tag along his uncle on exploration expeditions. During this period as a child, both himself and the JOBE association began to see great potential in his neural network, something which allows him to control and command the nanobots that float around us. Taken into an JOBE academy he began to explore nano technology very closly and soon became very skilled in the science. Through his studies of the Great Masters, Izgimmer and Enfraam, he learned many ways to control the nanobots, most of which came out as weapons of mass destruction, which could inflict a great deal of damage. Xtrophic graduated top of his class from the JOBE academy with a masters degree in Nanotechnology.
After his graduation he took employment with the JOBE association, and spent many years exploring the world of Rubi-Ka, as well as the newly opened Shadowlands. He enjoyed the exploration a great deal, but after a while the loneliness grew strong and he began seeking other things, things that would make him a happier person. As he was out on a regular Rubi-Ka exploration he stumbled upon a place out in neutral territory from where he could faintly hear the sound of music. Drawn by the airwaves of these sounds he approached Reet''s Retreat and joined in to Party. This was his first contact which was to be known as GridStream Productions. After a few parties he realised this was what he wanted to do, and after a while he joined in among the growing ranks, to help and support the craziness :)

For the first 26 years of his life a devout Omni citizen and by the book bureaucrat. After a small incident, involving a missing cover from a mining operation TPS report, a stapler and several buildings mysteriously burning down to the ground, Lykeios felt the need to re-evaluate his goals in life.
Leaving Omni territory behind him, with as much haste as was possible, he applied for a position within GSP. |

Born and raised by loving parents who ran a supply ship between the planets Destiny had a happy childhood filled with exploration and a love of the stars. She spent many hours listening to the grid feeds from the different planets fascinated by the vast differences in music from world one world to another. She especially liked the ambient musics because it reminded her of the vastness and peacefulness of being in space. That all changed one tragic day when their ship was transporting cargo to Newland on the planet of Rubi-ka. As they were entering the atmosphere their main drive failed sending them crashing deep in the desert. Unable to find her parents in the wreckage and only mutilated bodies of those she did find Destiny waited for the rescue she was sure would come. After days of waiting and quickly running out of the food and water she was able to salvage she knew she had to leave or suffer the same fate as those she had berried days before. Hours became days as she walked across the endless desert, running out of food and water she could no longer tell how much time went by... just the endless walking. She knew if she stopped she would surely die there in that scorching plane of nothingness. She fell to her knees, no longer able to stand but pulling and grabbing at the weeds and caked earth trying to continue on with the little strength she had left. Her vision blurred, surrounding her with the wonderful peaceful darkness of the space which she loved, stars twinkling behind her closed eyes. She could swear she even heard the hum of the ship she had lived on for so long just before nothingness enveloped her in its wonderus embrace. After weeks in a hospital recovering from the burns and severe dehydration of her time the desert she was told that she was free to go. She wondered the cities looking for any information on her parents' ship or indication that they may still be alive. Finding nothing she was crushed. While Destiny had spent her life on ships she had no practical skill with them after having spent most of it watching the stars and working on her musical skills. She was unable to find a freighter that was willing to take on someone unexperienced so the stars were lost to her. She was stranded on Rub-ka. Then one day she discovered a group of people who shared her love of music and used their knowledge to bring it to the rest of the planet! She had once again found a home. While her body had fully recovered from her time in the desert her mind never has. Some would say "she is not fully here". Destiny tends to speak of a life that was never her own. Talking about children she does not have and a place called "Washington DC"? Leaving those around her rather confused at times. Some say all the tragedy in her life has felt her a bit "Delusional". |
